How Age Affects Driving

How does having a seizure affect driving?
Seizures can be caused by head injuries or a high fever. They also may happen because of disease or infection. Seizures cause you to lose control of your body, and change how you see things. They can even make you pass out suddenly. This makes driving unsafe.

Some states willnot let you drive if you passed out during your seizure. Others limit your driving for up to a year. Ask you doctor about the safety of driving after a seizure. Ask your agent about your state's laws about driving after a seizure.
