Where can mature drivers take a driver safety course?
Driver safety courses are offered many places, even online. Those places include:

  • AARP teaches a class on how aging affects driving. It also helps older drivers learn how to adjust their driving. For information, call 1-888-227-7669 or visit www.aarp.org/life/drive.
  • AAA teaches a driver refresher course called Safe Driving for Mature Operators. To find out where you can take the class in your area, visit www.aaafoundation.org.
  • National Safety Council has defensive driving courses available online. Visit www.nsc.org to see if one is right for you.
  • Commercial driving schools also offer driver safety courses. Ask your insurance agent for suggestions.
