Address the letter to a contact person at the company
if you know who that is. If you don't, write to
"To Whom It May Concern" – don't
make assumptions about the gender of the person reading
the letter.
Your first paragraph should explain why you're
writing. Are you responding to an ad or a personal referral,
or are you asking about general openings?
Your second paragraph should tell about how your qualifications
fit the position.
Your last paragraphs should say that you have enclosed
a resume and should thank the reader for his or her time.
